Summit 2019, Information Builders' annual user conference, drew about 1000 attendees this year, including customers, partners and prospects all working with Information Builders' technologies. Under new leadership, Summit 2019 showcased the direction Information Builders is moving in the next couple of years.
Key news this year focused around the leadership change and platform announcements. On the leadership side, Information Builders is consolidating the analytics and data products under one engineering team, with a focus on "ease of everything", building on their success currently with "abilities" (scalability, reliability, and manageability). On the product side, announcements revolved around data integration and management, with real-time streaming data available via Kafka, and containerization with support for Docker and Kubernates. To see the full breakdown of the event, along with the impact to the market, watch my take below.
